Do you think that you can control depression with exercise, meditation and positive thinking?
I ask because I have had success myself. After being told I was an alcoholic, clinically depressed, manic depressive and ADD with a learning disability and I had panic attacks daily I went through life thinking I was too slow to amount to anything.Until this year. I got off the booze, I meditate every night, I actively combat negative thinking with positive thinking and I get out and walk. I am not on medication and haven't been for a year. It seemed as though they all worked for about a month and then all of the symptoms would return. I am having better results through my routine than I did with any drugs. Can you control symptoms or get rid of them all together with positive thinking, exercise and meditation?

Hv u set a goal to improve ur positive thinking?
As I can see, I hv so many negative thoughts n pesimistic thinking. It takes much energy which I really need. I think working on positive thinking could be the best goal for me for now. I think it would be very useful for me, if I could find out how other people realize such a goal. Do u set such " reminder" in ur memory " stop thinking so negatively" or " it is good time to enjoy this moment ,cherish this n that" ? How do u work on positive thinking if u set such a goal in ur life ?

Do you have to make positive thinking a habit?
I find sometimes it's difficult not to give in to negative thoughts and feelings. It's almost like I have to struggle and force myself to think positively. Sometimes negative thoughts about past mistakes take over my thinking and make everything seem more gloomy. Have you dealt with this yourself or do you know someone who deals with this?

Do st.john's positive thinking pills actually work?
iv been feeling alot of anxiety, sudden nervousness and nausea and my mom thinks that im depressed but im not so she got me these St.John's positive thinking pills. They dont seem to really work, iv taken them for about a week or two and i feel the same. i just wanted to know if the pills arnt working or if i just need to take something else.

Hw can we know if we r positive thinking person or a negative thinking person?
I think that iam a positive thinking person but my husband says i am a negative thinking person.Iadmit that i cannot bear my humilation and iam a bit possesive too.

if you develop a positive attitude, how do you noe if you got it? i mean when things goes wrong for me my mind always helps me out and like when something negative comes to ma mind, my mind replaces it with positive thoughts Automagically, it's like theirs someone telling me in my head tells me That" s OK Your Good Your not Bad Your a good person in every situation words like that is that how you explain a positive attitude? thnx

Yesss! Panic attacks are curable with positive thinking . Isn't amazing?
With my own experience , i was suffering from severe panic attacks since 4 years and thought that i have this disease due to my father , as he suffered from these attacks may be transferred from genes . I took medicines for a year , had some support from them , but not fully satisfied. Then i made a decision to move in a positive way and thought positive. I tried a trick to think as how would i feel if im fine. It took 2 years and amazingly this trick worked for me and now I am 101 % fine and back to my normal life.. I am damn happy and thanks for " Power of Positive Thinking" . Really did something possible which was impossible for me. Moreover , Even genes can turn your way if you want them to do.. Just think forward and positive and you can achieve impossible. Believe me Now i have such a mindset that i dont need any medicines for little fever or some small injuries too.Yupppyyyyyyyyyyyyyy..... happy days are back

Positive thinking/positive reinforcement methods to tackle a bad thought ?
Can anyone suggest any methods of positive reinforcement or positive thinking that i could use to tackle a negative or bad thought i am having ?.I am thinking of writing something down repeatedly or leaving notes to myself to tackle this thought, would this work or am i on the wrong track ?Maybe people can suggest methods i could use to tackle the thought ?, perhaps suggest websites that could help ?.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
