Subliminal Cd's, positive affirmations, mindfulness meditation, visualization, focusing, meditation, various massages, smile and laughter forcing(laughing yoga), activity calendars, music, color, hydro and pet therapy, moments of thankfulness, inspirational media and just plain eating sleeping an exercising. Youtube has a mass of videos on the subject. good luck |

The world isn't going to stop because you said something stupid, made the wrong choice, or gained a few pounds. The world will keep on spinning even if you miss a deadline or show up late. The best thing you can do is let yourself off the hook, apologize to those who deserve it, and be better next time. A few extra pounds doesn't make you fat, a bad hair day doesn't make you ugly, and a slip of the tongue or wrong answer doesn't make you stupid. |

Posted by: funguyy on 2009-04-13, 14:19:56 I have had to delve into Advaita Vedanta in Hinduism which has a technique of reductionism that puts everything into perspective. pretty sure i would have killed myself if i hadn't found a different way of viewing how things are. i'm never happy. i simply amused by the insane human condition. |

Posted by: Loreen A on 2009-04-13, 21:45:53 I think positive thoughts so for an example and it happened to me less than two months ago.I was looking forward on going back to Texas which I couldn't due to money and I wasn't a resident there so I was very disapointed and didn't do the normal things I do like check my email before the end of the night...but when something told me that I was going somewhere the following day I thought to myself,wait a minute and I was alarmed...That right there got my self esteem even the start of getting low so I told myself you know you can think of another plan to figure out your life.God gives you alternatives and I must figure out the right one and way.That's one way that helped me get back on track. |
