Question: Do st.john's positive thinking pills actually work?

Iv been feeling alot of anxiety, sudden nervousness and nausea and my mom thinks that im depressed (but im not) so she got me these St.John's positive thinking pills. They dont seem to really work, iv taken them for about a week or two and i feel the same. i just wanted to know if the pills arnt working or if i just need to take something else.
